Units:

2 pcs medium ripe bananas, peeled, cut into halves

3 tbsp cane sugar

250 g dark chocolate, 45-59%, chopped

Active time 20 min

Ready in 40 min

Preparation

  1. After cutting the bananas crosswise, insert a craft stick to each.
  2. Place them on a tray.
  3. Cover the bananas with plastic foil then place them into the freezer for about 3 hours to freeze.
  4. Pour the decorating sugar forms into a plate.
  5. Melt the chocolate in the top of a double broiler over slightly simmering water, on low heat, stirring frequently.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate into a tall glass or mug.
  7. Line a tray with waxed paper.
  8. Take the bananas out from the fridge then dip them into the chocolate.
  9. Immediatley after dipping, roll them into the sugars.
  10. Place them onto the waxed paper for hardening.
  11. Serve immediately or wrap them individually in a plastic wrap for another day.
  12. (Note: some say that it lasts for about two weeks in the freezer but I think that won't be any good with bananas.)
