In theory, you should be able to digest just about any type of food you put in your mouth. But changes in food processing and preparation - such as ready meals, frying and even our increasingly sedentary lifestyles - mean our stomachs don't always react well to everything we eat. Fortunately, nature also provides foods that can ease our digestion. Following a course of antibiotics or medication, (both of which can make your stomach sensitive), or even if you have Spring Fever, it's best to maintain a light diet. Sometimes we just have to accept that our stomach gets upset and we need to look after it.
